Audit Reveals DC Dems Misuse of Funds
DC Office of Campaign Finance Steps In
Washington, DC: The District of Columbia Republican Committee made the following statement in response to revelations that the DC Democratic State Committee was audited by the DC Office of Campaign Finance as reported in the Washington City Paper and Washington Post.
"When elected officials and party activists feel there are no checks and balances, District residents loose out. If District residents want to send a clear message that they are tired of hearing their elected officials and party activists misusing money and trust, there is no clearer message than to register as a DC Republican," stated Robert J. Kabel, Chairman of the DC Republican Committee.
