Last night's victories in New Jersey and Virginia are the latest examples of Republicans gaining ground on Democrats. As DC Republicans, we should all be proud to see states that trend Democrat, voted Republican.
New Jersey is a very deep blue state, very similar to Washington, DC. Governor elect Chris Christie (R-NJ) went into urban areas and campaigned on urban issues like a need for more transparency, better schools and less crime.
